Elizabeth is a multilingual learning and development practitioner, certified trainer and the first and only of 500+ EMCC-NOBCO accredited coaches from an African country in the Netherlands.
Originally from Kenya and based in the Netherlands since 2000, she specializes in supporting professionals and organizations facing career, workplace diversity, and intercultural challenges. Her background, professional education and expertise allows me to bring additional value to my work with the unique group I call “professionals ‘who are from elsewhere,’ or who are seen as such©,” as well as intercultural teams in global organizations.
Her clients seek her out not only for career, stress, and transition coaching, but also to address the underlying issues of self-identity, belonging, and a sense of control. She equips them to skillfully navigate identity, belonging, and transition challenges, empowering them to engage with, leverage, and overcome challenges around identity, belonging, and adaptation, whether they’re newly arrived in a country or still adjusting after years abroad. She offers them actionable coaching, consulting and support that is tailored to their unique contexts and realities.
As the founder and chair of the Intercultural Coaching Community of Practice at the Dutch Association for Professional Coaches (NOBCO-ICC), she envisions coaching in the Netherlands as a transformative and inclusive tool for personal and professional growth across all communities. Her mission is to increase the representation of culturally diverse professionals in the coaching field, promote culturally sensitive and inclusive practices, and expand access to coaching for a broader audience.
She believes in people, in possibilities, and in building on what is already there. Her mission is to help you thrive professionally and personally within the complex (inter)cultural environments of today.
Her motto, “Progress over perfection. Start where you are now, with what you have,” reflects her practical, inspiring and supportive approach.
Work with her to gain clarity, confidence, and actionable strategies for success, turning challenges into opportunities for growth and success.
